How do I get my Illinois Public Adjuster license after passing the exam?

After passing the Pearson VUE exam, you need to complete several steps: submit the PA-1 license application to the Illinois Department of Insurance with the $250 application fee, obtain a $50,000 surety bond, complete fingerprinting and a background check, and submit a copy of your independent contractor or employment contract to the DOI.
